Silent
Counselling
with Sylvia Tillmann
Sometimes the mind understands the problem, but the body is still holding the story.

In Silent Counselling you don't need to talk about painful experiences. Instead, we work quietly with the body's intelligence to identify and release emotional patterns at their root.
You may have tried to analyse past experiences, reflect on them or even worked with a professional - and yet something still feels unresolved.

Old situations can continue to echo within us, not always as clear memories, but as:

-
persistent thoughts
-
emotional reactions
-
tension in the body
-
or aches and pains that seem to have no clear cause
Even when we understand things intellectually, the body may still be holding on.

What if resolution didn’t require telling the whole story?

Silent Counselling is a gentle, body-based approach that works with the body’s own intelligence to identify and release emotional patterns at their root.
Most of the process happens quietly. There is no need to revisit painful memories or explain your experiences in detail.
Instead, we work with the body using:
-
muscle testing
-
meridian points
-
breathing
-
and subtle energy work
to identify and clear emotional stress held within the system.
As the body releases these patterns, people can experience:
-
a sense of emotional lightness
-
greater clarity
-
relief from long-held tension
-
and the feeling of being able to move forward again.
Often this work unfolds over just a few sessions.
A unique method
Silent Counselling was developed by Marjorie and John Cooper, energy healing practitioners in Scotland who worked extensively with clients facing deep emotional challenges, including addiction.
Their approach emerged from working with a client who was so traumatised that she could not speak about her experiences.
Instead of relying on words, they began working directly with the body’s responses - and discovered that profound change was still possible.
This experience eventually evolved into what is now known as Silent Counselling.
I had the privilege of training with Marjorie Cooper herself and was deeply impressed by the simplicity and effectiveness of this approach.
While I also have foundation training in traditional counselling, my experience has shown me that the body often holds the key to resolution.
